Albert shwoitzer Humanist

Story of Dr. Albert Schweitzer and his lifetime sacrifice helping starving Africans is known to all scholars.

Dr. Albert Schweitzer, a great physician, musician, writer and exceptional humanist was from very wealthy family. He became volunteer to stay in Africa, spared all his wealth and times  helping sick and starving African's children.  He could create many small inexpensive hospitals, trained many nurses and hospital's staffs.

Very same time he was suffering from his back and knee pains. When his wife asked him:
" Doctor, at least take care of your own sickness"

Dr. Schweitzer answered :  " Honey, I feel no pain when I see a saved starving baby is smiling. Seem it works as a good medicine for me."

My artwork above,  on his dead day was appraised and sold $16,000.00

Art and Creativity is the best pain reliever and anti-aging!

ART AND CREATIVITY IS THE BEST PAIN RELIEVER!

I have experiment this issue many times at my art studio. I shared the idea that Art and creativity is pain reliever. Many scholars and artists had similar experiments and they agreed with me.
This is the reality: I was in day of progressing to rap- up my conference cover letter for my second Master Degree, majoring in Multimedia Design.  I had already spent one year day and night designing and formatting a DVD disc about entire university's programs and its business office. It  included variety of live video interviews, many snap shot of related scenes, live lecture  of university's President and Vice President, Newsmen, TV programmers, parents and students. It could become a state of art Multimedia Design depict our remodeled university after famous Northridge earthquake. I run to the 24 hours graduate library to make my final touch up on my DVD multimedia production and my second  MA thesis.
On my way to school, suddenly a truck driver run out of control and came to the side walk hit my right arm so badly, do pain was killing me, but I did not care because I ad only one day to finalize my project and submit it t5o the university graduate jury.
At library I saw my beloved instructor Dr. Busa, changed his seat and offered me his computer. As soon as I started working on my yearlong project, my pain from accident was disappeared. I even did not care for eating my lunch or snack.  Like a true lover,  I was focusing on every words or images to be sure  I will pass my graduate conference next morning. It was almost 2:00 A.M. that suddenly someone touched my right arm, and it made me to scream so loud that attracted security and anyone in the library.  I looked up I saw face of my disappointed instructor and my graduate advisor, Dr. Busa, asking me:
" What happened Mark? You have been working on this computer almost 8 hours and you did not say one word of pain etc. Now you could damage my reputation in this library. What is wrong with you?"

With extreme shame, I apologized him that : " My dear professor, during those 8 hours, seems I was out of this troubled painful world, I did not feel any pain. But when you touched my shoulder,  in fact you woke me up to this painful world! My scream was from real pain of broken bone.
My beloved graduate adviser called  the security and ordered him take this graduate scholar to an emergency and tell them that I  he must be at graduate committee early morning or he might not pass graduation.

At the morning,  I could reach graduate committee on time, while my right arm was casted with Plaster of Paris! hanging on my neck. I added on top of my cover letter extra sentences as: "Art is the best pain reliever." then I hand all my thesis, DVD and my defend letter to my graduate advisor, beloved Dr. Busa.  He could explain to the graduate jury all about my accident and hard work at the library.
